Robert's Journey

Well, today was not a good picture day. OK, so the entire week has not been very good, but I’m trying to learn what this phone-camera can and can’t – mostly can’t – do, testing photo processing apps on here (which downsample terribly) and figure out how to best upload these pics to the BLOG…let alone select the correct crop/edit from these tiny thumbnails. Well, I am learning a lot, though not necessarily photographically, yet.

Anyway, I’m trying to start out strong and post something everyday, so here it is…

The “glint” of light…in a window, in an eye, off a glass…

One type of shot I really like is the reflection; it’s something I’ve had success with in the past. I’ve been trying to capture a good “bounce” of the office Christmas tree for a couple days now, and this is a step in the right direction, though I think to really nail this one I’ll need to stay late and shut off the office lighting…
